Robin Campbell was born in Glasgow, and had a very classical, musical upbringing studying piano, violin, and vocals. The mid - late 60's changed the beat from the classics to Rock & Roll playing drums in several Glasgow bands. In the 70's Robin performed in the highly successful folk duo 'Lomond Folk' until the untimely death of his singing partner Donald Brown in 1977. A solo career on the Scottish Tourist Circuit lasted for eight years before moving South of the border. In the new millennium, a musical partnership evolved with fellow musician Andy Hart, forming the rock band "Solid-Silver". From this partnership came Solid Silver Productions. While still 'rocking', Robin is back to his roots and enjoying folk music again. Apart from solo performances, Robin takes great pleasure from being part of 'Celtic Krystal' and 'Tangleweave'. Isn't life strange...its gone the full circle...nearly!

Tangleweave - Robin started this new project with Chris Puleston. Having worked together on various music projects in the past they now weave together Robin's many years of Scottish and Celtic song with the multi - instrumental talents of Chris. Robin and Chris are the musical warp and weft, threads of rhythm and song, breathing new life into many well known and popular traditional songs ~ a weave of dreams. Tangleweave brings together other like minded musicians to suit the moment and make an exciting musical dream come true.
